ICAM ABACUS National Level Championship 2024 Held at Grand Kandyan Hotel
Kandy, Sri Lanka – December 7, 2024 – The ICAM ABACUS National Level Championship 2024, a premier event in the realm of mental arithmetic and abacus mastery, took place at the prestigious Grand Kandyan Hotel in Kandy on December 7. The competition witnessed a remarkable turnout of 1,400 physical participants and 400 online competitors, showcasing exceptional skills in mental calculation using the traditional abacus.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Xu Goncai, the President of the International Abacus Association (IAA) in China, who served as the Chief Guest for the occasion. Xu Goncai, a leading figure in the global abacus community, delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing the importance of preserving and promoting the ancient art of abacus calculation. His words resonated with both the young and adult participants, many of whom have dedicated years to mastering this mental skill. The championship featured a variety of competitions across different age groups, with participants demonstrating their impressive speed and accuracy in performing complex mathematical operations. ICAM ABACUS கல்வி நிறுவனம் கண்டியில் ஏற்பாடு செய்த பரிசளிப்பு விழாவில் நாடு முழுதும் இருந்து 1400 மாணவர்கள் கலந்து சிறப்பித்த அதேவேளை , இலங்கை முழுதும் அமைந்துள்ள கல்வி நிறுவன கிளைகளில் இருந்து கலந்து கொண்ட மாணவர்களில் 15 மாணவர்கள் ABACUS excellence award விருதையும் பெற்றுக் கொண்டனர்.
